Workshop Description
In this class you will learn the techniques involved in making two soldered glass charms.
Students can bring their own art and photo images
that have been reduced down to a 1"x1.5" size, or you may choose from collection of
supplied images. Instructor will demonstrate cutting glass, charm construction, and soldering
techniques. If you wish to purchase your own soldering iron please let us
know ten days before class.
Basic tool kit
Scissors
Xacto Knife Metal Ruler Plastic Fid (optional) Glue
Stick Ultra Fine Point Sharpie ( black) Needle Nose Pliers
Flat Nose Pliers Jewelry Tweezers (optional) Cross-Lock Curved
Tweezers (optional) Soldering Iron 100 watts and stand (optional) Glass surface to solder on 8” x 10” (optional)
CAUTION: if you are pregnant, nursing or thinking of getting pregnant in the near
feature this class is not recommended, since we are using chemicals (don't
mean to scare you!)
